Install APlus 5.2
This How-To article will show you how to install APlus 5.2.
This version is compatible with Mastercam 2020.
The current PC user must have administrative rights to be able to install the software.
Mastercam must be run one-time before installing APlus 5.2 to ensure the relevant Windows registry entries are created.
Mastercam must be closed prior to installing APlus 5.2.

The APlus 5.2 Online Help files can be found in the Installation Folder and also on the desktop if chosen during the installation process.
Instructions
Follow the these steps to install APlus:
After unzipping the APlus_v52_Installer_LaserPowder_WireArc.zip file, double-click on the APlus_v52_Installer_LaserPowder_WireArc.exe file to install for Mastercam 2020.
Once the APlus Installer loads, click on Next to start the installation process.
If you accept the APlus License Agreement, click on the radio button “I accept…” and then click on Next.
If you are using a Mastercam Single License (purple HASP), click on No, otherwise if you are using a Mastercam Network License (red HASP), click on Yes.
The installer will automatically find the Mastercam default installation folder.
If the Mastercam 2020 installation folder is different from the default, click on Browse. Select the Mastercam 2020 installation folder then click on OK.
Once the Mastercam 2020 installation folder is listed, click on Next.
Depending on the type of installation, you can choose which components of APlus to install. Once selected, click on Next.
If you don’t want to install the APlus help file shortcuts to the desktop, uncheck “Help File…”, otherwise click Next.
The APlus Installer will list all the components to be installed, once you are ready to start the APlus installer, click on Install.
If the APlus Machine Definitions for Mastercam 2020 have been installed and you want to overwrite them, check “Apply the answer…” and then click Yes. If you don’t want to overwrite them, click on No.
Once the APlus installation has completed, click on Finish.
The APlus software license (CAMU.spcf) can be installed by copying it into the Mastercam 2020 Shared Folder.
