Online Robotmaster License Activation

This How-To article will activate a Robotmaster License using Robotmaster’s Codemeter License Central WebDepot.

For a Local license, make sure Robotmaster is installed first.
For a Network license, make sure to install the latest Codemeter User Runtime.

Prior to installing a Robotmaster License:

  • For the online activation of the license, a steady internet connection is required.

  • The Local license is an individual license bound to a single PC. This software can only be used on 1 computer at a time. If the user wants to transfer it to a different computer at any time, the user must Re-Host the license to Robotmaster’s Codemeter License Central WebDepot, and then activate it again onto the new computer.

  • The Network License supports multiple client PCs connecting to it over the LAN, and supports the same number of concurrent users as licenses installed on the network license.

  • If the user desires to change or reformat their Local PC or network license server, they must Re-Host the license explained in Deactivate a Robotmaster Software License (Re-Host).

If another Robotmaster license was previously activated on the local PC or network license server, that previous license must deactivated prior to activating a new one. This commonly occurs when a time-limited trial license is activated. Further, detailed instructions on how to deactivate a license is explained inDeactivate a Robotmaster Software License (Re-Host).

Robotmaster Local PC Minimum System Requirements:

  • Operating System: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, Windows 10 - 64-bit

  • Processor: 64-bit Intel or AMD, 2.4GHz or faster

  • System Memory (RAM): 8 GB

  • Hard Disk Space: 250GB, 20GB free

  • Video: 1 GB graphics memory, OpenGL 3.2 or better

  • Monitor: Minimum 1920 x 1080 resolution

Activating a Robotmaster Software License

The following instructions will complete a license activation for a local license. For a network license server, please follow the addition steps to Setup a Robotmaster Network Software License after following the steps below.

Robotmaster will supply a local or network software license holder with a link to the Codemeter License Central WebDepot that looks like this: http://lc.codemeter.com/99999/depot/get.php (99999 is a sample)

Additionally, Robotmaster will supply a Codemeter License Central Ticket ID that can be entered into the link above. The Ticket ID is alphanumeric and includes 5 sets of 5 numbers.

  1. Open the Codemeter License Central by following this link: http://lc.codemeter.com/77357/depot/index.php

  2. Enter your ticket ID into the Ticket box:

  3. After entering your Ticket ID into the link, click on Next and the following webpage will be displayed:

  4. If the status says Available 1 (1), then click on Activate Licenses. If the status says Available 0 (1), the license has already been activated and it cannot be activated again. Deactivate the license on the computer that it was previously activated using the Re-Host links above.

  5. The Available Licenses will now be shown, and can be activated on-line. Offline activation is available, but is covered in a different Help Article. To activate the license, click on Activate Selected License Now.

  6. The Online License Transfer will begin. When it finishes, click on OK to finish the activation.

  7. Once the activation is complete, the licenses will show Available: 0 (1).

  8. Opening the "CodeMeter Control Center", will show the CodeMeter license container.

  9. Clicking on WebAdmin, will show the details of the License in the License Container.

  10. The details of the License in the License Container will show all of the options that are activated.
