Access a Robotmaster Client License from a Network License Server
After setting up the Network License Server and installing the Robotmaster software on a local PC, the client PC licensing system needs to be configured to search for the Network License Server instead of local on the local Client PC.
For instructions on how to set up a Server License refer to:
Setup a Robotmaster Network Software License
The CodeMeter Control Center software must be running on the local Client PC before it can access the Network License Server. When installing Robotmaster software it will automatically install the CodeMeter Control Center, launch it as a service, and open up outgoing firewall requests.
How to Access a Robotmaster Client License on the Network License Server
Open CodeMeter (CodeMeter is available from the windows start menu)
Click go to File >WebAbmin.
The Web Admin page will open in your internet browser:
In the Configuration menu, select Basic/Server Search List:
In the Server Search List, click on add new Server
Write the Server's name or IP-address of the license server in the input box. Then click on Add.
Click on Apply
A message will be displayed to tell you if the operation is successful
The system will look locally for a compatible license. If it does not find it, it will look on the network for the presence of a license server.
The license access account is decremented by 1 for each access to the license per machine. Once the license is acquired, there is no limit to the amount of session of Robotmaster the user can run on the given machine.
