Chapter 3 - Creating Contouring or Cycles Path from Points List (CAM Import Utilities)
The Intercam CAM Import Utilities allow users to create contouring or cycle operations from an imported point list in ASCII format. The following article explains how to do so.
To import Contouring or Cycle Paths, the current Robotmaster V7 software must have a license for the Contouring and Cycle CAM Module!
The next steps show the imported path creation:
In the Robotmaster Task Mode, click on the Operations “+” button and then click CAM Import Utilities, then click on From point list, and finally click on Contouring path.

The input file must be a .txt file with the list of points.
Each line in the .txt file should follow this syntax:
X Y Z I J K
2. When Contouring path is selected, a contouring operation similar to Figure 2, will be defined:

3. When Cycle path is selected, a cycles operation, similar to Figure 3, will be defined:

Notes:
The TXT file should only contain the Base Path and/or Cycle points. This means that including retract/clearance points as part of the TXT will cause unexpected results.
If the TXT only contains XYZ values (without IJK orientation) all vectors will automatically point vertically. Figure 4 shows this example.
