Setup a Robotmaster Network Software License

Setup a Robotmaster Network Software License

This How-To article will show you how to use the Codemeter Control Center to set up the Robotmaster Network License server.

Prior to setting up a Robotmaster Network License server:

  • The network license server must install the latest version of Codemeter Runtime before it can be activated. Download the latest CodeMeter User Runtime.

  • The Network License must be activated on the network license server using the https://intercam.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/HELP/pages/776044545 of the Offline Robotmaster License Activation.

  • Once the Network License has been activated, the network license server must be configured to allow network access from the client PCs via the license server firewall.

  • The license access amount is decremented by 1 for each machine connected to the network license server. Once the license is acquired, there is no limit to the amount of Robotmaster sessions the client PC can run on the given machine.

  • The network license server does not have to be activated on a Windows Server Operating System. The CodeMeter User Runtime supports Windows 32/64bit, Linux or MacOS.

  • Robotmaster software must be installed in every local client PC that will use the network license.

Robotmaster Local Client PC Minimum System Requirements:

  • Operating System: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, Windows 10 - 64-bit

  1. Open “CodeMeter Control Center” on your computer.

  2. Click go to File tab and click on WebAdmin or click on the WebAdmin button on the bottom right corner.

  3. The following webpage will be displayed:

  4. Selecting Configuration, Server, Server Access as displayed in the picture below will bring up the Server Access tab:

  5. In the Server Access tab, click on the Enable radio button under Network server and then click Apply.

  6. The Robotmaster network license server is now activated. Older versions of the CodeMeter Control Center required it to be restarted. The current versions automatically restart the CodeMeter Control Center service. To manually restart the service use this How-To article.

  7. Depending on the Robotmaster Network License Server operating system, the firewall will need to allow local client PCs to access the Network License. TCP/UDP protocols for port 22350 will need to allow traffic.
